NEW CARE GROUP

Alright I am officially in the coolest caregroup of all. Just went to my first caregroup meeting this tuesday at Mike's. It was a blast. Between meeting my new caregroup and having the girls try to hit us guys with about 100 water ballons and missing every shoot. But Remember "it is not actually hitting it is about the attempt." Right, or atleast that is what the girls told us. Anyway got to go to pizza hut and make some money.

Les Miserbles/WWII comics

Well I just finished reading Les Miserbles today, and I have to say that with out a doubt it is one of the coolest books that I have read uptodate! Although I might have a different opinion of it if I had to read the unedited 1600 page version.

Now on to a completely different topic. (some people take this random switching of topics as proof that I have ADD but I assure I dont, or maybe I am just in denial) but anyway I digress. In my senior History class we have be studying WWII and its culture, well the other day Dan Mori gave me some insight into what my grandparents were during and reading. He showed me this site, although I would not catagorically recommend this site there were a few things that I had to show you. When I first saw it I did not know whether to laugh or be shocked. This are actual drawing and comics from WWII. PS Any Asian people who might read this please do not be offended.

Yes, this is real. And supposedly it's quite tame compared to the rest of the stuff he did.

"Golly, Batman, don't we have a code against using guns and killing people?"

"Sorry, Robin, I can't hear you over the racket of this chain gun and the screams of the maimed and dying!"

Wow.

I didn't think it was even possible to feel bad for Hitler...

AND MY PERSONAL FAVORITE

OK, you're running them over with a steam roller. Doesn't seem to me like you need to be shooting them at the same time. Maybe you should work on shooting the ones who aren't about to be pulverized...

Welling way anyway here was a quick glimpse into your grandparents lives. Bent you never knew Super man could be so violent.

Hey Guys Acts is over and I wanted to thank all of you guys for praying for the cast, God blessed us so much! All the glory goes to God!

O if any of you guys see gab spiro, john calderone or andrew cowan be sure to thank them for serving everybody so effectively this week! Especially Justin who in spite of suffering major migraine headaches all this week served us so effectively.

Hey For all the cast I was wondering if you guys would mind just sharing something you learned through the ACTS play? Even if they are funny memories or things that you will miss, I would love to hear how God specifically blessed you through the play.

ACTS SHOW !

GOD is so good! Last night we had ACTS SHOW 1 and God meet us! It was sucha sweet time of God pouring out his grace on the whole cast. I think God will really use it to his glory! Praise God!

Praise the LORD. [a]
       Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
       his love endures forever.

    2 Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the LORD
       or fully declare his praise?

    3 Blessed are they who maintain justice,
       who constantly do what is right.

    4 Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people,
       come to my aid when you save them,

    5 that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones,
       that I may share in the joy of your nation
       and join your inheritance in giving praise.

    6 We have sinned, even as our fathers did;
       we have done wrong and acted wickedly.

    7 When our fathers were in Egypt,
       they gave no thought to your miracles;
       they did not remember your many kindnesses,
       and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea. [b]

    8 Yet he saved them for his name's sake,
       to make his mighty power known.  Ps.106:1-8

This Play is all for him and his glory. Please contiue to pray that God will use this show mightly for his name and glory.
